The iPad mini is a touchscreen tablet designed by the American company Apple and presented to the public on October 23, 2012. It takes the features and general design of the original iPad in a more compact format. Its retina screen measures 7.9 inches diagonally compared to 9.7 inches for the large model. It is available, on November 2, 2012, from €339 in 16 GB and Wi-Fi and from €469 in 16 GB and Wi-Fi + 4G. It inherits a good part of the hardware characteristics of the iPad 2. Its different versions are the iPad mini 2, released on October 22, 2013, the iPad mini 3, released on October 17, 2014, the iPad mini 4, released on October 21, 2015, the iPad mini 5, released on March 18, 2019 and the iPad mini 6 released on September 24, 2021
